Don't Watch

Sunday

8.00 pm C4: Avenging Terror: The Posse Rides Out. The high priests of TWAT (The War Against Terror) tell a little of what happened after 9/11

9.00 ITV: I'm A Celebrity - Get Me Out Of Here. Fatuous "reality TV" drivel featuring has-beens/never-beens. Sad to see the sharp and funny Rhona Cameron involved with such tripe.
Monday 9.00pm C4: Origins:Ice World. Learn something. 12.30pm BBC1: Judgemental. Sophie Raworth graduates from the breakfast TV sofa to... a lunchtime game show. A meteroic career beckons.
Tuesday 11.05 pm C4: The Meyssan Conspiracy. According to the French writer Thierry Meyssan, 9-11 was orchestrated by the US military-industrial complex. Possibly entertaining but, unfortunately, probably cobblers. 12.30pm BBC1.
Wednesday 8.00pm C5: Big Stuff. Catering for the Clarkson 'Big Boy's Toys' demographic. Mostly harmless. 9.00pm C5: Operation Delta Force. Embarrasing movie featuring the US special forces unit. If it had any accuracy they'd either be staying home at Fort Bragg or getting murdered on some hare-brained mission.
Thursday 10.00pm C4: West Wing. Acclaimed American White House drama makes its terrestrial debut. 9.10pm BBC1: Two Thousand Acres Of Sky. Still Ballymachamishbeat. And what is Dennis Pennis doing in it?
Friday
8.00pm BBC1: Battle Of The
Fantasy Bands. Strange concept,
tribute band competition. Might be
amusing in a sub-Karaoke way.

9.00pm ITV: The Bill. Time this
standard was put out to pasture.

Saturday 9.00pm C5: Blade Runner: The Director's Cut. The granddaddy of intelligent Sci-Fi movies. 9.00pm C4: 100 Greatest TV Ads. Is C4 running out of ideas or something? Why is it having to rely on these facile review shows? No brain TV, so much for pushing the boundaries.
