Readers' Writes

E-mails start here.

OffMSG is a reaction to being told what to believe, what to think and how to live by a mob of miscreant politicians, feral fat-cats, media magnates, sad psychiatrists, and celebrities famous only for being famous. All they want is your vote, your money or your virginity. Aided and abetted by PRs, lazy hacks, 17-year-old television researchers and advertising 'executives', they often want all three.

Contributors to the site are mostly experienced professional journalists (they tell me) who have seen the errors of their ways. "An informative read and frightfully entertaining." (Unsolicited testimonial by the Editor.)

We will assume that all e-mail to OffMSG may be published in OffLOAD unless you clearly state otherwise. We reserve the right to fairly edit long and boring messages.

I wonder if any of your site visitors can provide any information about 'conflict therapy'?

I just received a mind, body, spirit brochure through the post which referred to "conflict therapy" and I thought that I might be able to make some money out of it as I was brought up in this way myself.

In fact all Scots are natural exponents of what I imagine conflict therapy to be.

I was thinking that I could set up shop in england perhaps - where they do not have the advantage of a proper upbringing.

Clients would come to me with their £30 fee which I would take, then slam the door in their face. I would then shout: "Fuck Off." through the letter box.

Do you think this is a good idea?

Perhaps I could attract New Labour people, some of whom would benefit from conflict therapy.
